3D Cart is a formidable choice when choosing an e-commerce solution. Like Volusion, it offers scalability, so small shop owners don’t need to transfer providers as they grow into more successful e-commerce powerhouses. 3D Cart also doesn’t charge any small accruing fees, such as transaction fees. While it’s a great option, primarily for its web-design capability and easy management tools, the downside is the limited design options you do have, including limited template choice. It has only 50 template options compared to Volusion’s 280 and Shopify’s 115. The software also unfortunately charges heavily for marketing options, although these are far more integrated and aggressive campaigns. The software offers a host of standard capabilities, including flash image gallery, Google/PayPal integration, basic discount promotions, data feed to popular search engines and shop design/management. Notably, 3D Cart also integrates with top shipping software and offers drop shipper support. 3D Cart offers a number of specific packages, including e-commerce marketing solutions, social media marketing packages for Facebook, Twitter and Blogs, as well as mobile commerce solutions. These can be utilized by shops not using 3D Cart software but looking to opt-in to necessary features required by serious e-commerce businesses. Features at a Glance: • 24/7 technical support • Aggressive e-commerce marketing solutions • Free training offered • Plenty of app plug-ins • Great support/resource options • Tier 1 hosting • Drop Shipper support
